Paul D. Schoenle

Paul D. Schoenle, Of Counsel, is a registered Patent Lawyer(27,491) with extensive experience in patent litigation and licensing intellectual property. His practice is focused on intellectual property matters for corporate and individual clients, and he is an inventor (US Patents 5,879,398 and 5,957,979).

Mr. Schoenle is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association. He was Chief Counsel Patents for Bristol-Myers Squibb Company and Vice President Senior Counsel and Secretary for Zimmer, Inc. He managed all the legal issues in establishing Zimmer Holdings, Inc. as a public company with shares (ZMH) traded on the New York Stock Exchange. Mr. Schoenle is a member of the Board of Directors of Southfield Village, a continuing care retirement community and a member of the advisory board of the Fort Wayne South Bend Diocese Northeast Foundation. He is also an All American member of the John Purdue Club.

He and his wife Kathryn have four children; Sara, Andrew, Anne and Ellen. In his spare time, Mr. Schoenle enjoys general aviation travel by flying his Bonanza around the country.
